WOOD & Company advised on the IPO of STS Holding on the Warsaw Stock Exchange

WOOD & Company advised STS Holding S.A. (“STS Holding”, the “Company”) and its Shareholders as a joint bookrunner on the initial public offering on the Main Market of the Warsaw Stock Exchange (“WSE”).


Today (10 December), STS Group (the “Group”), a capital group headed by STS Holding, announced the debut of the Company’s shares on the regulated market operated by WSE. Investors acquired 46,874,998 shares in the all-secondary offering, constituting c.30% of the share capital of STS Holding S.A., including the greenshoe, amounting to approximately PLN 1.1bn (approximately EUR 235m). Mateusz Juroszek, together with his family, retains a a c.70% shareholding in the Company. 

The Group is the largest licensed bookmaker in Poland, based on turnover, and also operates on an international scale through licences in the United Kingdom and Estonia, from where it offers its services in several additional markets. The Group's portfolio of services includes sports betting, virtual sports, an online casino (outside of Poland), BetGames and a wide range of betting services related to eSports.  

“The high growth, strong balance sheet and impressive management team attracted top-quality international financial institutions, as well as very strong demand from domestic investors. The IPO is the 4th largest on the WSE in the year-to-date and the 5th largest in the past three years“, said Przemysław Błogowski, Director at WOOD & Company.

The Company’s Management Board was represented by Mateusz Juroszek, Zdzisław Kostrubała and Marcin Walczysko, supported by Filip Paszke, as the capital market adviser to the Board, as well as the STS Holding team of Michał Miller, Dawid Prysak and Łukasz Borkowski.
